My H cuts out and tries to die at about half trottle and lack's power on the bottom end. I've replaced the points, cleaned and the set the carb, cleaned the fuel tank, checked fuel and air flow. even tighten the monifold down good and tight. seem to have good compression. About all I figure can be left is the governor at a complete loss where's a good place to start after the cover's off. I know for a fact the shaft is turning and butterfly opens and the shaft that run's off the engine is turning. if all else fails where can I get parts for the governor. First time this old h has had me fooled. thanx's for any help given in advance.....

My 45 H acts the very same when the plugs want to be changed.when she starts acting like this she is uasually only running on cylinders 2 and 4.I would not suggest removing the wires with the engine running . ttfn Bill and son Jake
