This may not qualify as hard-to-find, but I would like to buy a set of manuals for a Farmall H. Does anyone have any experience with buying from parts suppliers, such as those in Red Power, or Belt Pulley magazines? They all seem to be within a few dollars of each other. Is there any difference in quality or content? Should I just go by price?
I appreciate any information.

Give BINDERBOOKS a call. Sorry I don't have the number handy but they advertise in REDPOWER and others. I have got good quality and good service from them. Will be spring before long and you'll need that H in the field!

Thanks Ralph. You're right about Spring coming, but I still have a little time. It comes a whole lot later in the hills of Massachusetts than it does in TN.

Hi, You should be able to get some manuals from an IH dealer. The costs aren't too bad and they do help. They are reprints of the originals.
Thanks, Fred Hall

Thanks for the help. I bought a set from Binder Books. They seem to be fine, and the price was a little less than the other sources. Plus, and maybe all dealers do this, I got a form to send in to get a free vented gas cap for my tractor(s). They let you specify up to four. You just need to provide the serial numbers. What a deal!
